Why I teach: My passion is teaching. I am constantly inspired by my students' thinking, writing and perspective on our world.
What students can expect from me: Students can expect me to approach them with love, hope and positivity. They can expect me to motivate and push them intellectually and appreciate their perspective and insights.
Who inspires me: People who follow the Martin Luther King Jr. philosophy of character inspire me: “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy.”
P.S. Something you may not know about me is that I have been practicing the art of Kung Fu since 1998 and am a second-degree black belt. I love to be in the outdoors whether hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming or spending time at the coast!
